  • My policy is under six years but I have already successfully claimed on the insurance – can the policy still have been mis-sold?

    Until January 2010 it was generally assumed that you could not make a mis-selling complaint if a successful insurance claim had been made, as this would indicate that the policy was suitable for your needs.

    However, proposals from the FSA now mean that anyone who has claimed can still submit a mis-selling complaint although the chances of success are unclear. Even if you are not successful you maybe be able to cancel your Payment Protection insurance.

  • Will my information be passed on to other companies?
